Sibaji Biswas is a transformative finance leader with a proven track record of delivering business impact across complex, high-growth environments. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at SPNI, he drives financial strategy, corporate finance, and planning, to enhance operational efficiency and growth across the Company’s multi-channel and digital platforms. With a focus on unlocking enterprise value, Sibaji plays a critical role in strengthening SPNI’s financial foundation where he works closely with business and content leaders to align financial goals with the Company’s long-term vision and accelerate growth across its broadcast and digital verticals, including Sony LIV.

He brings over two decades of deep expertise in scaling businesses, driving operational efficiency, and leading strategic transformation. Prior to joining SPNI, he was at Syngene International, a Biocon Group company, where he served as Executive Director and CFO, and was instrumental in doubling revenues and nearly tripling market capitalization. His leadership extended beyond finance to digital transformation, supply chain modernization, and enterprise-wide strategic execution positioning the company for long-term resilience and investor confidence.

Sibaji’s global experience includes over a decade at Vodafone, where he held high-impact roles such as CFO, Vodafone Romania and EVP, Corporate Development. He led M&A, strategic procurement, and financial operations across India and Europe. His earlier work at Hutchison Telecom India included shaping the Vodafone-Hutch acquisition and establishing Indus Towers, showcasing his ability to steer high-stakes financial initiatives in dynamic market conditions.

An IIT Kharagpur alumnus with a B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering, Sibaji also holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Calcutta and is a CFA (ICFAI). He has further honed his leadership through executive programs at IIM Ahmedabad and London Business School. With a sharp strategic mindset and a global perspective, Sibaji brings decisive leadership and financial discipline to SPNI team.
