Ek India Happywala is the CSR theme under the aegis of which Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) runs its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. The campaign focusses on creating a positive impact in our ecosystem and is built around 3 pillars; empowerment, education and environment. The CSR initiative at the Company draws on its philosophy that as a responsible organization it will contribute to the greater common good of the society and help build a sustainable way of life for marginalized sections of society.

    We recognise Education as one of the most important intervention for socio-economic development of the society, especially for girl child. Our initiatives in this area focuses primarily on ensuring quality in education and infrastructure development to provide a conducive environment for learning.

    Empowerment

    Our initiatives in this area emphasises on empowering youth especially from underprivileged and marginalised sections of the society. ‘Empowerment through Sports’ has been a key focus area for us as we believe that Sports is a terrific medium of empowerment. As a responsible sports broadcaster, our long term vision is to improve the sports narrative in India.

    Environment

    Cleaner and greener environment is an important strategic imperative for us. We focus on initiatives to keep our surrounding clean, fight pollution and support environmental sustainability through various advocacy and outreach initiatives.
